Who we are

Boston Research & Communications is a 12-year-old qualitative research and analysis network specializing in business and public affairs. The organization has served brand-name consulting firms, new-technology start-ups, Fortune 1,000 companies and higher education. At BR&C you deal directly with the analysts who gather and evaluate the information you need to make better business decisions or advance your public-policy goals.

What we do

BR&C performs studies in financial services, executive search, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, public affairs and higher education.  In recent years much of our financial services work has focused on the transactional capabilities of the Internet. In manufacturing we have stressed cost reduction and sourcing in the Far East.

About David Giguere
Managing Director, Boston Research & Communications, Inc.

Dave Giguere has a quarter-century of experience in business research and analysis, public affairs, as well as business and investigative journalism. He has completed a wide variety of studies in support of business strategic planning and public-relations effectiveness.

Mr. Giguere's experience as a research manager is wide-ranging. He has led research teams staffed with specialists, performed primary research and analysis, written comprehensive sourced reports on deadline, and edited reports on the business impact of long-term trends in science and technology, sociology and politics.

Before he started Boston Research & Communications, Inc., Mr. Giguere was a newspaper journalist, concentrating on general assignment and business reporting, including aerospace and defense, as well as banking. Over 17 years, he served several newspaper enterprises, including Gannett and Times Mirror. His bylined articles ran in The Hartford Courant, the Associated Press and the Los Angeles Times-Washington Post News Service. Professional recognition included investigative reporting awards from the Society of the Silurians in New York and the Society of Professional Journalists, Sigma Delta Chi.

Mr. Giguere is a cum laude graduate of St. Bonaventure University, where he majored in journalism. He served as a reporter and editor for the college's award-winning newspaper, and was selected for Pi Delta Epsilon and Sigma Delta Chi. He has studied economics at the University of Massachusetts and photojournalism at the New England School of Photography.
